Citroen's MINI Cooper JCW Fighting DS3 Racing 200HP
Here's the first official video clip of the limited edition Citroen DS3 Racing that will be formally introduced at the Geneva Motor Show next week. A creation of Citroen's Racing division that handles the firm's World Rally Championship cars, the DS3 Racing will be produced in a strictly limited number of 1,000 units.
The hottest variant yet of the French automaker's premium supermini is powered by a tweaked version of the BMW-PSA Citroen Peugeot co-developed 1.6-liter turbocharged engine that's also used on the rivaling MINI Cooper JCW model. In the DS3 Racing, the 1.6 THP delivers an output of 200HP.

It measures 3.68m long, 1.73m wide and 1.35m tall, underlying its purpose as an urban transporter with enough utility to use it as an everyday car. The styling is defined by the curving bonnet, the wide wheel arches and a smooth roofline.

GTbyCITROEN supercar concept video driving in London
A new promotional video was released last week showing the GTbyCITROEN concept cruising around the streets of London. You may recall that Citroen executive Vincent Besson told members of the media attending the Geneva Motor Show that the car will be produced in a limited edition of no more than 20 units.
Those details have changed a bit since March. Autocar is reporting that Besson officially gave the car a greenlight. Production will initially be limited to just six, with an expected retail price in the £1.1 million range. Expect the car to keep it's carbon fiber body and less-than-common interior. [...]

The Italian company Nimik has produced an original remake of the Citroen 2CV van, once sold in Italy as the “Acadiane”. The Nimik name established itself in the rally sector for having participated in various races with Citroen models.
To honour the French brand, the Nimik Rally Team decided to assemble by hand a personalised 2CV van based on a Ferrari F355. Originally used as a team and promotion vehicle, Nimil took its creation to the My Special Car Show in Rimini. In the video above you can see how they managed to transform a Ferrari into a Citroen 2CV van…. [...]
Citroen DS3 Interior Revealed
If Citroen's DS line is any indicator then we are in for a very exciting new era of premium mass cars. A famous example is the ever-green but expensive MINI which sold over 230,000 units in 2008. Should Citroen price their compact DS models like the DS3 well below the MINI then we could see an upsurge in sales and profits for the French automaker.
Speaking of the DS3, we saw the DS Inside Concept in Geneva this year and it had dark tinted windows all around. No one was able to take a peek to see what was inside. Luckily [...]

Spirited and refined styling
The redesigned C1 is set for launch in November. The styling upgrade enhances the car’s cheerful, curvaceous looks with several changes to the front end, including stronger bumper outlines that underline the C1’s get-up-and-go spirit.
Citroën has made several changes inside, notably [...]

Citroen GT Teaser No.2
It appears that Citroen and Sony subsidiary Polyphony Digital are happy with the exposure they've received regarding their mysterious GT concept car teaser, but perhaps it was a bit too vague. So within a day of its initial release, which we have arduously traced back to ZerCustoms.com for breaking the story, Citroen/Polyphony Digital have issued another teaser image. This time, the image is showing a little more leg with a slight lift of the skirt, which exposes a scary gaping rear end with a lower carbon fiber diffusser of some sort the size [...]
Citroen GT Teaser for Paris and Sony PS3 Gran Turismo Prologue
Sony has released a teaser image and video for the Citroen GT concept. Making its world debut in Paris in just under two weeks, as well as being available in Sony Playstation3 Gran Turismo5 Prologue, no details have been given. However, we can make out from the image that it's a sleek aerodynamic GT coupe with a broad stance and very low greenhouse which is centered in the middle of the vehicle. Also, the unmistakable LED headlamps shine through the Gran Turismo sheet.
