Fisker Karma Shows off Some Track Action

We have yet to see how the Fisker Karma performs when it goes hard. Luckily some footage of the Karma going around a track has popped up on YouTube for us to enjoy. Who said that when going green, you’ll have to sacrifice performance and good looks?

Fisker Karma Shows its Mojo

A year ago, less a day, we showed you the first clip of the Fisker Karma in motion. More footage was shot that afternoon, but it's inexplicably taken this long for it to find its way onto the internet. What we have here is 52 seconds of exuberant, pedal-down slalom carving and skidpad circling in the Fisker Karma. The driver makes the tires squawk so much that you forget all about the unfortunate pop tune dubbed into the clip.

While not as polished as Fisker's recently-aired commercial, it does give a more accurate hint of how the luxo-sport hybrid-electric might handle. [...]

Fisker Karma Sedan Television Ad

A few months before Fisker begins delivery of the Karma, the California-based automaker has began running ads for its all-electric sedan on LA TV stations. The first commercial for the 100mpg luxury plug-in hybrid isn't anything special but at least it gets the word out. See it after the jump.

Fisker To Produce a Range of Hybrids

Whether the pursuit of multiple hybrid models will be very profitable or not, Fisker has plans to produce three different versions of its Karma plug-in hybrid technology. The company has limited experience in this niche market but plans to produce a range of cars.

Vic Doolan, board member at the Finnish company, has revealed that the aim will be to have 3.3 percent market share in the luxury segment by 2012.
