Hummer is planning to unveil a trio of concept H3’s at SEMA to show how a few weekends of work and a host of HUMMER and GM accessories can turn a standard H3 into an off-road beast.

First up is the H3T Weekend Warrior concept which features 5.3L V-8 with an additional 70 hp over the production version, thanks to several products from GM Performance Parts. The new components include new cylinder heads, higher-lift camshaft, and a custom 3.5-inch exhaust system. Artist Matthew Harrison today unveils his latest project entitled ‘Hummer’ at the fifth Zoo Art Fair (17-20 October) - a HUMMER H3 complete with wooden wagon wheels, the iconic installation will be parked on Old Burlington Road, opposite the Royal Academy of Arts for the duration of the fair.

Harrison is exhibiting on behalf of East London gallery, Limoncello, one of 57 under six year old galleries, project spaces, artists’ collectives, curatorial groups and publications showcasing works from some of the most exciting art talent in the world.

It is time to reveal the new pick truck, which will be presented to the public in the next Chicago Auto Show. It would take a little longer for us to have the official images, but the magazine Truck Trend broke the embargo date (February 1, 2008) in its last issue.

The Hummer H3T is build on the Chevrolet Colorado /H3 architecture. Although based on the SUV, the H3T’s wheelbase is 8,6 cm larger, reaching 3,41 m and allowing the presence of a pretty reasonable separate bed, with 1,5 m. The crew cab ca carry up to five passengers.

The Hummer H3 Black Edition is based on the Adventure edition, but with some 5,000 Euro worth of extra goodies besides the full-black paint job.
