Thanks to a WCF reader simply named SW, we now have a picture of what is probably Kia's entrée into the luxury sports sedan segment. Kia's chief designer Peter Schreyer reportedly unveiled this sketch of a car referred to as K9 at a design conference near Seoul last Friday.

Our South Korean sources -chic- have provides us with the first videos of Kia's reborn Sorento that was unveiled at the 2009 International Seoul Motor Show that runs for the public from April 3 to 12. Unlike its more rugged predecessor that featured a body-on-frame structure, the 2010 Sorento uses a unibody architecture as Kia aims to target the more lucrative crossover segment. Depending on the market, the new Sorento will be available with 4-cylinder diesel and gasoline engines plus a 277HP 3.5-liter V6 petrol. Watch both promotional videos after the jump.

An image showing the concept version of Kia's upcoming VG luxury sedan has leaked to the web ahead of its unveiling at the Seoul Motor Show next month. Dubbed the KND-5, the concept hints at what we can expect from the company's new Amanti replacement which will officially debut later this year.

Created to rival other near-luxury sedans such as the Volkswagen Passat CC, the new KND-5 concept boasts an elegant exterior which features upscale design touches such as LED lighting, 20-inch wheels, and a massive panoramic glass roof.

The original Hampster Dance was born in 1998 and featured an endless loop of four hamsters dancing to the song "Whistle Stop" by Roger Miller. Worldwide sales of the Kia Soul commence about a month from now. So now the marketing machine has begun rolling in order for Kia to promote its smallest SUV/crossover and hence the videos that you see in this space.

Nothing particularly spectacular is shown; mostly public road driving footage appears and close-up interior shots compliment that. A lot of the shots are taken in an urban/ city setting which is probably where the majority of Soul buyers will come from.

GM may have pulled out of the Los Angeles Auto Show, but the industry's woes won't rain on everybody's parade. Kia is rumored to have two showstoppers planned. Kia Motor is breaking down barriers again, setting the tone for possibly its next wave of design language. The concept KOUP they are officially revealing today looks like a hybrid of a union between a number of other designs, most notably Mitsubishi Lancer (the grille and rear lights) and BMW CS (headlights). Branded as Borrego in international markets, Kia's all-new Mohave SUV hit Korean showrooms only yesterday; and it's evident this is a vehicle gunning for a slice of its home market's luxury sector. First displayed in Seoul, Kia has wheeled out their KND-4 concept vehicle at the Los Angeles Auto Show.  Although it is a mid-size SUV, it still looks a bit like it was inspired by the specially outfitted monster truck from Tango & Cash.
