Elegant Drifting With a Maybach
Despite weight over 2,800 kg (6,184 lbs), being rear wheel drive and having a 612hp V12 under the bonnet producing 900 Nm (663 lbs/ft) of torque, it's still easy to imagine the difficulty in drifting a Maybach 62 S around a curve. However, the chaps at iMotor have taken the challenge, of course with the help of a skilled driver, a nice new tux and a wet slick track. The only thing missing from the video is a sip of bubbly while drifting through the turn.

Maybach Landaulet Makes World Debut at Dubai Motor Show
Unfortunately the WCF team were unable to make the journey over to Dubai to see the new Maybach Landaulet in the flesh for the first time, however loyal WCF reader "Vinay" was fortunately enough to be there and has duely sent us some liveshots of the event.
The Landaulet is a one off concept but we are sure there will be no shortage of takers demanding at least a limited production run.

Brabus Maybach 57 Sets World Speed Record at Nardo
330.6 km/h, 205.2 mph
Three years ago Brabus took the Maybach 57 into their workshop and tweaked and tuned until they were left with a luxury saloon powered by their 640 hp 6.3 liter (instead of the factory standard 5.5 liter) SV12 bi-turbo engine capable of hitting 314 km/h (195 mph). But there is always room for improvement, and that goes especially for the experts at Brabus.
Cue the Maybach 57 with the Brabus SV12 S bi-turbo engine, this 12 cylinder engine puts 730 horsepower to the road and has managed to break the 200 mph benchmark on the Nardo highspeed test [...]
