Here's an eight-second video of a Ferrari test mule caught streaking down the street right on Ferrari's front doorstep.
This video was shot in Maranello, Italy right outside the company's factory, and what we hear may be the sound of a V12 and a double-clutch gearbox. But who knows, they could be playing with the acoustics too to throw us off the scent.
Visually, it's heavily camouflaged and comes with a long beak, which could indicate a front-mounted engine. The mule has got headlights borrowed from a 458 Italia and a 599 Fiorano rear glass.
The proper guess, given the long nose and the V12 sound, is that it's a successor to the 612 Scaglietti, which is old enough to be due for a replacement.
Wait, wait and see...but that sound says so much already.
