It's been a good week for nabbing peeks at upcoming German metal and the latest shots to come out of Deutschland include the first clear pics of the hopped up BMW 1-Series. And not only do we have stills, but we've got video to prove it, too [...]

It wouldn't take many people long to convince us here at the WCF office to vote for the M1 Homage Concept to be put into production. Lets face it, the Bavarian manufacturer is well placed to create a more than adequate replacement to the legendary M1 [...]

The unveiling of the BMW M1 Homage design study has really got the world talking, will the German manufacturer create a successor to the legendary M1 supercar? At the moment we are all left guessing the true intentions for the M1, but clearly the M1 Homage is a step in the right direction for a full production model. The attention the M1 Homage has been receiving has been immense that we saw it fit to post not, one, but two videos and just yesterday a very nice photoshop surfaced on the web courtesy of Dutch designer “H0SS “.
Now we believe it is time for a trip down memory lane, the video above shows the original M1 supercar (street version) in the orange livery racing round the world famous Nurburgring - and we do mean “racing”, you will see hear what we mean in the video [...]

When BMW pays homage to such an iconic vehicle as the M1, it deserves all the attention it gets -whether good or bad. After the initial unveiling at the 2008 oncorso D’Eleganza Villa D’Este, we were then treated to a nice peice of footage from the event showing the exterior beauty of the vehicle [...]

 Snapped a day ahead of its official debut, the M1 Concept shows BMW can reinterpret its classics in a modern and daring way. Sharing the essential core of the original M1’s design, yet thoroughly up-to-date, the new concept arrives just a month past its predecessor’s 30th birthday.

Showing BMW’s increasing distance from the Chris Bangle flame-surfacing design language of the late 1990s and early 2000s, the M1 is a smooth, flowing, yet angular wedge with a low brow, high haunches and the signature kidney grille.

Details should accompany the official debut tomorrow at the Concorsa d’Eleganza Villa d’Este, but until then, we can reminisce about the original M1.
