Volvo S60 promo video
This is a cool video from Volvo of the new S60 sedan, showing some extreme driving and the first glimpse at the interior, before its official debut at the 2010 Geneva motor show. The S60 is an updated version of the model, and will debut with engine options including GTDi petrol models, and turbocharged diesels with 1.6 and 2.0 litres [...]
2011 Mercedes-Benz SLS AMG does a barrel roll inside a tunnel
There is no doubt that Mercedes-Benz is really proud of its new SLS AMG supercar – so much so that the Stuttgart automaker came up with a couple of outstanding TV spots for the vehicle in Germany. One spot, which has a lot of people talking (especially on YouTube) features the SLS AMG doing a barrel roll inside a tunnel (and we mean crawling on the walls and everything) [...]
Mercedes E63 AMG vs Cadillac CTS V
The guys from Motor Trend love their Cadillac CTS-V. The American sports sedan has 556 hp and 750 Nm of torque, and has already beaten the BMW M5 and the new Jaguar XFR in two previous challenges from Motor Trend [...]

Audi E-Tron test drive video
The Audi E-Tron test drive by the Los Angeles Times is seen in this video, although it’s unlikely to tell you anything you didn’t already know. We don’t get an idea of what it feels like to actually drive the E-Tron, and the torque figures quoted are likely to be those of the wheels, and not the output shaft, which has created some controversy.
The driver of this test, Dan Neil, gives us some insight into what kind of car the E-Tron is like in his written article [...]
Audi A1 design concepts
The Audi A1 presentation is a long way off in February, if you consider Christmas, holidays and New Year all in the middle, but the A1 countdown has already started. The new Audi compact car will debut at the 2010 Geneva motor show from March 4 to 14, but it’s while before our curiosity will be satisfied.
The A1 launch campaign includes tantalising glimpses of the car on Twitter, Facebook and in the video above [...]
Volkswagen Scirocco R vs Ford Focus RS
Here are three videos of the Volkswagen Scirocco R vs the Ford Focus RS. The first two come from the Germans at D-Motor and the second, after the jump, is Autocar’s verdict on how the Scirocco R compares to the Focus RS [...]
Nissan GTR vs Porsche 911: Daddy's little rich kids
It’s a corny video so it might not have quite the intended impact on Porsche 911 fans, but here’s a mini film in which we see the Nissan GTR pick off the 911 in a race, the winner of which gets the inheritance. It looks like a fun drive around the estate and this time round, you could do worse than be the butler.

Audi A8 video and S8 news
Here’s the official video of the new Audi A8 sedan, including some road footage and beauty shots to get a closer look. The new A8 will debut first with the 4.2-litre TFSI V8 engine with 372 hp, followed by the TDI V8 with 350 hp [...]
SLS AMG on track at Laguna Seca
The appearance of the new SLS AMG Gullwing at Laguna Seca got the Americans very excited, as it would anyone, I guess. What I can’t get over is just how many of the models are lined up around the track (I always get the impression that any new launch of a supercar is the same car travelling around the world - or at least one of an exclusive group of three).
This particular track video of the SLS AMG has some fantastic onboard footage and unsophisticated commentary, but we appreciate it for the guy’s enthusiasm (he doesn’t stop smiling for the whole video) [...]
Audi A6 or A7 spy video from Mexico
Here is a spy video of the new Audi A6 or Audi A7, coming all the way from Mexico. The video was taken in the town of Puebla, which is home to Volkswagen Group production facilities [...]
New BMW M3 GTS Goes Slideways on the Race Track
"Born on the Racetrack to Live on the Streets" is BMW's motto for its newly revealed M3 GTS, a stripped-out 450-horsepower version of the M3 Coupe that marks the M division's return to its roots. Following the presentation of the first photos, details (click here to read our previous post) and a rather dull static teaser film, the Bavarian firm has now released a pair of impressive and beautifully executed videos showing off the M3 GTS on the race track [...]
2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder in Action
Earlier this morning we saw the lightest model available in Porsche’s lineup – the 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder. We now have a video of it in action – check it out after the jump.
Refresher: Weighing in at 2,811 pounds, the 2011 Porsche Boxster Spyder is powered by a 3.4L 6-cylinder engine with direct fuel-injection making 320-hp [...]
Bob Lutz prepares for the Cadillac CTS-V Challenge
General Motors Company’s Vice Chairman Bob Lutz is out preparing for the upcoming Cadillac V-Series Challenge where he will race qualifying racers (and comparable vehicles) in a Cadillac CTS-V at the Monticello Motor Club on October 29. GM has just released a video showing Lutz practicing for the big day.
The event has drawn 120 applications, out of which GM will only choose five winners. The deadline to apply for the challenge was last Friday.
Refresher: Power for the 2009 Cadillac CTS-V comes from a 6.2L supercharged V8 (LSA) that produces 556-hp with a peak torque of 551 lb-ft [...]
Allan McNish presents the Audi R8 V10
Audi driver Allan McNish presents the Audi R8 V10, saying “it’s the best car Audi’s ever built” (then reflecting on that and saying that the best car Audi has ever built is, in fact, his R15 TDI but we’re unlikely ever to get the chance to drive one). Here, we get a close-up look and not only the perspective from a 24-hour Le Mans champion, but a person who understands what is involved in the daily driving of a sports car.
The R8 V10 has a 5.2-litre engine with 525 hp, which reaches 100 km/hr in just four seconds [...]
